NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

 Print and fill out your form to save time before you arrive at the studio.

Make your first visit to Yoga Health Center a breeze, by doing it all online!  There are no reservations or sign-ups for classes, just arrive 20 minutes before class time.  You can start off by registering with YHC.  This gets your signed off and on our waiver and creates your online student login account

Arrive at least 20min before for class. No late arrivals allowed.
Be well hydrated & no food at least 2hrs BEFORE class.

BEFORE CLASS

  • Always check into class at front desk

  • For your first class, arrive at least 20 minutes early before class to register and prepare for class. Or register online!

  • We allow up to 5 minutes for late arrivals - NO more

  • Bring a sticky Yoga mat; it is required for all classes. We have them available for rental or purchase. Please - no oversize mats.

  • Arrive with an empty stomach (ideally no food 2 or more hours before class) and be well hydrated, bring water

  • For Bikram hot yoga;

    • Bring 2 mat size towels and a small face towel (no oversized or beach towels)

    • Women wear shorts or yoga pants and sports bras (Cotton is not recommended)

    • Men wear shorts and a short sleeved or sleeveless wick shirt. No shirt is acceptable.

    • We strongly recommend a skidless mat towel. We have them for sale.

    • Be well hydrated, bring water

  • Remove your shoes and jewelry

  • No perfume, colognes or sprays

  • Walk at the feet of students, not over their head; do not walk on other student's mats

  • When lying down, head faces front mirror

  • Speak quietly in the room

  • Line up your mat with the orange dots on the floor, upper left corner touches the orange dot

  • Cellphones are not allowed in class, except for medical professionals and on vibrate only

DURING CLASS

  • For late arrivals, enter between postures or when the teacher indicates

  • If you have to leave the room do so in between postures

  • Listen to and respect the teacher - do not do your own thing as it disrupts the energy of the class

  • Practice your stillness and focus on yourself

  • No talking

AFTER CLASS

  • NO TALKING after class in the yoga room

  • Tidy up your area (dispose of kleenex, etc...)

  • Wipe any wet floor areas around you, dry off your body, yoga gear

  • Leave quietly, no keys or water bottles jangling 

  • Return props to the racks according to teacher instruction

  • Cover up in reception/lobby area if you just finished a Bikram hot yoga class (wrap up in a towel, t-shirt, etc...)

YOGA PRACTICE

Daily is ideal! Yoga must be practiced on a regular basis with no long lapses of time in between lessons to be effective. If you are new, a minimum of 10 classes in 30 days is recommended. Once you start practicing regularly, you will find that you want to do yoga- not only is it fun, but it works! The time and effort you put in will return to you tenfold.

STUDIO POLICIES

​PHOTO: We take a mandatory head shot photo for all new students to identify you in our software. This is for internal  use only. Photo is required prior to taking class.

CHILDREN: As young as 10 may attend certain classes if accompanied by an parent/adult. Ask at front desk. We do not provide child care.
