How do I install Zoom to take the YHC Streaming Classes

Can I enter a streaming class after it's already begun?

Yes. You can join at any time prior to or after the class has started, that you've pre-registered for.

How can I inform the instructor if I can't hear them or their video isn't displaying? (i.e., it's not a problem from my end)

Click on the icon labeled "Participants" at the bottom center of your PC or Mac screen, or phone. At the bottom of the window on the right side of the screen, click the button labeled "Raise Hand." If this doesn't work, contact the teacher at the end of the class. You can also inform the teacher by using the chat feature. Write the teacher a short and clear message about what's not working (after you make sure it's not a problem on your device)

Can I practice with my child/spouse/BF/GF without paying for/signing in two people?

Yes, and please keep in mind the CDC guidelines for social distancing, especially if they have been out of the house.

How can I give the teacher feedback?

You can use Chat to send a message to the host. Chat is available from the toolbar at the bottom of your Zoom meeting session.

Can I leave a class early if something comes up?

Yes, you can leave the class as you need. If you intend to return after you leave, keep your device on and connected to the class and drop back in when you're ready. Please make sure your mic is on mute until the end when the teacher or class facilitator unmutes you.
